Photos of the Athonite elder Avvakum (Vakarov)
Из-за своей скромности и аскетичного настроя духа старец Аввакум не любил фотографироваться, поэтому его фотографий сохранилось крайне мало. На фотоснимках с многолюдных официальных церковных мероприятий отца Аввакума не увидеть на первых планах – почти всегда он стоит с края всех собравшихся и практически никогда не находится в центре. Ниже приведенные фото были найдены в архивах Свято-Пантелеимонового и других афонских монастырей.
